How drop-in works
Register once, then reserve a time
Four steps, and only the first one takes more than a minute.
- 01
Step 1: Register once
Fill in your family's registration: your contacts, the adults who may pick up, and what we need to know about your child. It takes one sitting, and you do it only once.
- 02
Step 2: Reserve a time
Choose a block, or the hours inside one, for the day you need. Reserve a day ahead when you can; if there is room on the day, we take walk-ins.
- 03
Step 3: Arrive
A teacher meets you at the room door and you sign your child in. Tell us anything that helps tonight, like a nap, a bottle or a favorite book.
- 04
Step 4: Pick up
Come when your block ends. We hand your child to an adult on your pickup list, and you sign them out.
An evening block
What a block is like
The times move with the children. The order stays the same.
- 01Early evening
Step 1: Arrival
A teacher meets you at the room door. Your child hangs a coat on a hook, you sign in, and there is time for a hug.
- 02Early evening
Step 2: Play
Blocks, books, dough and paint. Babies have the play mat, and a teacher stays on the floor with them.
- 03Evening
Step 3: Dinner
Dinner is at the long table, and babies eat beside it on their own schedule. Tell us about allergies when you register.
- 04Evening
Step 4: Wash up
Everyone washes hands at a sink built for small people, and the night's theme begins.
- 05Late evening
Step 5: Quiet time
Cots for the babies, mats and a story for everyone else. The lights go down and the room slows.
- 06Close of the block
Step 6: Pickup
A teacher walks each child to the door, hands them to an adult on your list and says goodnight.
In the room
Goodbyes, taken slowly

At the door
Stay for a block if you like. We never rush a goodbye, and we text you when your child has settled.

Words with a teacher
Tell the teacher how the day went and what helps tonight. We write it down and pass it on at the next block.

Hands busy
Paint, clay, water and sand at the table. Something is always ready for small hands.

Clean hands
Soap and running water at a sink children can reach, with a teacher beside them.
